As of November 23rd, 2009, I am 25 years old! I simultaneously feel all grown up and ridiculously young. All I know is that I feel good about who I am and where I am, and isn't that what's important?
Part of my happiness and pride can be traced to a big announcement: I'm published! The day after my birthday, "First Lord's Fury" hit the shelves. It's the sixth and final book in the Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher, who also wrote The Dresden Files. After enduring years of fans clamoring for a map of Alera, Jim and I put our heads together and made it happen.
The map was printed in "First Lord's Fury" and will also appear in upcoming reprints of books 1-4. Finally, fans will be able to trace the adventures of Tavi, Kitai, Bernard, Amara, Isana, and all the rest of their favourite characters in a concrete, visual format. I couldn't be more excited about the result!
You can view the map and some of the elements in my Gallery, and you can download the map as desktop wallpaper in a multitude of sizes at Jim's official site: www.jim-butcher.com/news/00034…
You can also buy the book from Jim's official store: www.jim-butcher.com/store/

Nothing to say!
I have nothing to say! I just wanted to get the journal about being a college student off the front page, because I haven't been a college student for 16 months.
I am a poor college student

3k!
Whoo! Just broke 3000 pageviews the other day! *does a little dance* I was #2999, in fact! Happy 20th birthday to me! (November 23rd, doncha know. :D)
I realized I forgot to mention here that I was one of five UPenn students to be selected for the Juror's Award in the Undergraduate Juried Show. $200 cash prize, woohoo! I submitted Death (my winning image, which also was one of 12 (out of 300+) gallery director's picks in the Dallas Contemporary Art Gallery Members' Show), Desire, and Destruction of my Sandman Series; you can see them in the gallery here.
The show was taken down just before Thanksgiving break, and the images are now in my su
Prints!
I just got a DevPrints account last night. If there are any images of mine you want a print of, just comment (either here or on the specific image) and I'll do my best to make them available.
